The target domain is that of electro-mechanical system design.

Collaborators in this research are Rolls-Royce plc, Unilever, DePuy International, and Brush Electrical Machines LTD. Vassilis has published papers at PICMET'01, ASME'01, ICAD'02, and soon ASME'02.

Prior to joining the University of Leeds, Vassilis received the MEng with honors in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Newcastle on Tyne UK, and his BSc with honors in Mechanical Engineering and Pedagogical Studies from the Higher School of Technological and Pedagogical Education in Athens, Greece. There, Vassilis received two awards from the Institution of National Scholarships.

Mr. Agouridas is a qualified teacher in vocational and technical education, an Associate Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers as well as the Institution of Electrical Engineers, both in the UK. And, best of all, he is a Student Member of our beloved International Council on Systems Engineering.
